I read about Douglas Brinkley’s book The Great Deluge: Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, in this month’s issue of Vanity Fair, which also features Anderson Cooper and a diary of his time in NOLA during and after Katrina.
